This immigration update came as a comfort to many people who had been waiting to step foot on Australian land to finish their studies. Others had the happiest moment of their life since they would be returning to work in Australia at the company where they are now employed.
Due to the scare for Omicron Variant, the reopening dates were pushed back for all the skilled immigrants and international candidates.
The reopening of the Australian borders is not just for the Indian students and immigrants. But international candidates from Japan and South Korea are eligible to set foot in Australia. Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison confirmed this “encouraging news” at a press conference with South Korean President, Moon Jae-In on Monday.
Australia will welcome everyone from December 15th, 2021, Wednesday. Morrison also said that it will be the most-happiest moment for all those 123,000 Australians of Korean Ancestry who are finally getting the chance to meet their family members and friends.
Due to Omicron’s concerns, many individuals’ flight was canceled, and this particular decision has heavily impacted many visa holders who were denied access into the country. On the other hand, the overheard and rebooking expenses have also burnt a hole in many individuals’ pockets due to the cancellation of the flights. But despite all these hectic situations, many individuals were happy as they were finally returning back to Australia to continue their education and jobs.
